How It Works

We do things a little differently here at John Jae Photo & Video, serving your exact needs with an à la carte menu in lieu of traditional packages. Why pay for a service that you have no interest in? Average investment is $2,200 for cinematography but will vary in either direction depending on your desires.

Every single video we create is a hand-tailored work of art; not to be confused with a one-stop-shop, too good to be true, you get what you pay for studio. At John Jae Photo & Video we focus on quality, not volume. Every wedding brings a new set of challenges that our experienced team is always prepared to handle. 

Aerial drone photography/cinematography is available at no extra cost (weather and local ordinances are factors that will determine usage).

Coverage

Depending on the schedule of your day and the coverage you desire, anywhere from 8 -12 hours usually does the trick. If the schedule allows, we always recommend starting coverage with the bride and groom getting ready. 

Adding a 2nd cinematographer is highly recommended, bringing a film-like experience that cannot be achieved otherwise. 2nd cinematographers are each available for $125/hour, with a minimum of 6 hours.

Post Production

There seems to be a divide in the wedding community when confronted with the question: Which is better, a short-form (6-10 minute) highlight video recapping the entire day or a long-form cut (90-120 minutes) including all of the formalities in their entirety? 

The trend is certainly moving towards the shorter format but we believe there are so many reasons why the long-form video is equally important. Nevertheless, we give you the option to decide how you want your final product to look!

Deliverables

With technology rapidly evolving, DVDs and Blurays will soon go the way of the dinosaurs. More and more couples are telling us they don't even own a DVD player so we're now giving you the option to choose the best format to view your video. 

All of our final deliverables are custom designed with your name & wedding date inscribed. Samples can be shared during a consultation.
